2016 Blackstar HT 40. 2 Channel all tube super verstile amp. It can give you everything from super chimey cleans right up to the highest gain. My new main gigging amp. |
2002 Peavey Bandit Red Stripe Made in USA.Swapped out the speaker for a Eminence Swamp Thang. This thing has been my main amp for a long long time. It has a bit of a problem now where no sound comes out if you run through the front end of the amp, but if you run a preamp through the line in its fine. I use my digitech RP500 for that and its still useful. | 2001 Peavey Bandit Red Stripe Made in the USA. I bought this to replace my original Bandit until I can get it repaired and then they will serve as backups to each other. This one has the sheifield speaker which is better than the Scorpion that came in my original Bandit. |
2009 Digitech RP500. Sounds great. I use it for direct recording, jaming at home when a more complicated rig isn't needed, and really anywhere where my other pedal board just isn't practical. |
Digitech GNX3000. Sounds great. Same sort of thing as the RP500 but from like 2003ish. Has some Bass rigs, great sounds and models. It was the flag ship from its time and I found it cheap and wanted to try. |
My pedal board. It's on a Gater powered board with a zip up soft case. Signal path is guitar> Behringer OD800 (TS 808 clone)> Kooko Plexion (marshallizer)> Behringer OD400 (Boss OD3 clone> Eno Classic Distortion (MI Audio Crunch Box copy)>front of amp and Behringer DD400 Digital Delay>Line 6 M5 Stomp Box modeler>Donner Boost Killer (copy Xotic RC Boost clone) in the effects loop. I like to experiment so this changes from time to time. |
Strings: Electric: Whatever is cheapest or on sale. 9-42 Nickle Wound. Diadario, Ernie Ball, Musician's Gear, Martin Darco - all are just fine to me. Acoustic: Martin Marquis 10-46 Phospher Bronze Other Accessories: Peavey, and Fender Cables. I like heavy picks - Gator grips are awesome live because of the grippy texture on them, I like the Little Stubby picks for alternate picking runs. Just think heavy picks. That's what I like. Dunlop Glass Slides. I used to use GFS cables - I use their pickups alot but I can no longer recommend them because of poor shielding and noise. I now use Musician's Gear. I do not, nor am I endorsed by any of these manufacturers. I just like their stuff and use it to make music. |
